English windows

Application:
English windows (opening outwards) are a typical window joinery system used on the British and Irish markets. They are used in residential construction, both in new buildings and in the modernization of existing buildings.

Characteristics:
Top-hung (tilt) and side-hung windows with an external sash cleaning function – “easy clean” – after opening the sash to 90 degrees and moving it towards the center of the frame, the outer glass can be cleaned safely and easily without leaving the building.

Advantages:
– possibility of opening the sashes outwards
– very good window tightness (wind pressure pushes the sash against the frame)
– space saving inside the room (allows the use of e.g. an internal window sill)
– available in many different opening options – depending on customer needs
– possibility of obtaining interesting functions related to window usability
