Pivot windows

Application:
Pivot windows are an interesting alternative to classic windows.
They are used in residential construction, especially on Scandinavian markets.
They are an interesting solution, particularly where interior space is limited.

Characteristics:
Shape: rectangular
Frame installation depth: 120 mm
Opening method: the sash rotates 180 degrees (horizontal pivot axis)
Possibility of using glazing with a thickness of 24 or 36 mm in double- or triple-glazed units.

Equipment:
– The window is opened using a (offset) handle mounted at the bottom of the sash.
– IPA hardware
– safety lock preventing unwanted opening by children (so-called restrictor)

Options: lockable handle, milling of the frame

Advantages:
– easy window cleaning
– after rotating the sash by 180° – convenient cleaning of the external glass surface
– high durability and functionality over a long service life
– very good airtightness (wind pressure presses the sash against the frame)
