Renovation windows

Application:
A popular solution in France.
Used in residential construction, in external structures, as windows or balcony and terrace doors.

Characteristics:
The renovation frame allows windows to be installed without dismantling the old frames. This solution is often used in historic buildings, allowing the risk of façade damage to be avoided. The reduced frame height does not significantly reduce the glass area despite leaving the old frame in place.

Equipment:
Standard: perimeter fittings, standard aluminum handle
Option: lockable handle
Possibility of using double- or triple-glazed units.

Advantages:
– no need to dismantle old frames
– use of special renovation frames with a so-called masking profile that covers the old frame, creating a characteristic internal trim, while special cladding profiles can be used on the outside
– masking rebates allow coverage from 28 mm to 50 mm
– fast window replacement possible thanks to avoiding part of the finishing works
