Installation manual

Traditional window installation instructions

  • Correct installation of the window will significantly extend its service life.
  • To facilitate handling during installation, remove the sash and work only with the frame.
  • The installation clearance must not be less than 10 mm on each side.
  • After positioning the frame on the sill, use a spirit level to set the vertical and horizontal alignment of the frame sides and secure it with wooden wedges.
  • For fixing windows, use expansion anchors (Ø10 mm) or mounting brackets.
  • After fastening the frame, reattach the sash and adjust it properly.
  • Next, insulate the window using polyurethane foam between the frame and the wall. Before applying the foam, it is recommended to moisten the gap between the frame and the wall. After the foam has hardened, remove the wedges and fill the remaining gaps with foam. The installation foam acts only as an insulating material and must not be used as the sole means of fixing the window to the wall.
The lower horizontal parts of frames and sashes include drainage holes for rainwater, which must not be covered.
  • During installation, remember that the final completion of the window is the installation of properly sealed internal and external window sills.
