Warranty conditions

“AGAT+” guarantees that the products are manufactured based on the appropriate reference documents and are of good quality.

1. A 2-year warranty is granted for PVC profiles used in the products manufactured by “AGAT+”.

Detailed warranty conditions for PVC joinery:

• colour stability
• resistance to deformation
• tightness
• durability of seals
• internal cleanliness of glazing units

2. The warranty applies only if installation is carried out in accordance with construction standards and if periodic maintenance is performed according to the Manufacturer’s recommendations during the warranty period, i.e. adjustment and maintenance of fittings and maintenance of seals.
(NOTE! Adjustment of fittings is the INSTALLER’S responsibility and is not covered by the warranty).

3. The warranty does not cover:

• mechanical damage and resulting defects
• damage and defects caused by improper use
• mechanical damage to glazing
• optical phenomena known as “Newton’s Rings” (rainbow effect), a feature of thermofloat insulated glazing units

4. If defects attributable to the Guarantor are discovered during the warranty period, they will be repaired free of charge within the following deadlines:

• 14 days from the date of notification, if the repair does not require replacement of components
• 30 days from the date of notification, if the repair requires replacement of components, and the Guarantor decides whether the component is replaced with a defect-free one

5. Complaints should be submitted to the sales unit where the product was purchased.

6. The basis for accepting a complaint is the submission of proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

7. The warranty period shall be extended by the time taken to process the complaint, if during this time it was impossible for the user to use the product concerned.

8. If the identified defects cannot be removed free of charge under this warranty, the Guarantor undertakes to remove them for a fee under a separate agreement.
