PBI 40 Economic (PBI 40E)

The PBI 40 Economic system (PBI 40E) is designed for partitions and constructions that do not require thermal insulation, suitable for both interior and exterior applications such as doors, windows, non-load-bearing partition walls, display windows, and booths.

Based on the PBI 40E system, smoke-tight doors and walls can also be constructed.

Building elements made from the PBI 40E system are intended for use in residential, public, and industrial buildings as internal partitions.

Doors and walls made with the PBI 40E system can also be used as external partitions only in cases where no thermal insulation or watertightness requirements are imposed, and static calculations account for wind loads.

Technical Description

The PBI 40E system consists of aluminum profiles without thermal insulation with a characteristic dimension of 40mm (installation depth) for both frames and wings.
Various types of transparent and opaque infills with thicknesses from 4 to 24mm can be used in the PBI 40E system.

Maximum dimensions achievable with this system are:

  • HxW = 2400mm x 1200mm for single-leaf doors
  • HxW = 2400mm x 2210mm for double-leaf doors

Additional Benefits
The aesthetic value of the constructions is enhanced by the high-quality surface finishing of profiles: powder coating and anodizing.
Products can be painted in any RAL color.
The PBI 40E system uses the same fittings and accessories (connectors, gaskets, snap profiles for fixing infills) as the PBI 50N and PI 50N systems.

Key Features
The PBI 40E system allows for the creation of partition walls, cash partition walls, and doors and windows that do not require thermal insulation. It is used for economical interior constructions with a high standard of aesthetics and functionality.

All types of glass available on the market can be used as infills, including single, insulated, or bulletproof glass, made of clear, absorptive, patterned, or reflective glass. In addition, infills can include aluminum panels, any furniture panels, gypsum boards, or polycarbonate sheets. Maximum infill thickness is 24mm.

The system allows for constructions in various configurations and layouts, including walls at 90° and 135° angles.

CF 77

CF 77 is a new offering in the Reynaers range of folding (accordion) door systems, providing better optimization of living space. Using this aesthetic and functional system to connect the home with the garden, folding doors with up to 8 panels can be created in various configurations and sequences.

There are 4 threshold options for the doors: high-performance sealing, medium-performance sealing, low threshold, and flush threshold. The high-performance threshold option offers excellent resistance to rainwater and low air permeability.

The medium-performance threshold option combines good air permeability and rainwater tightness. The low threshold, protruding 18 mm above the floor, as well as the flush low threshold, allow easy passage and maximum comfort.

An additional practical feature of the CF 77 system is the flexible use of door fittings on the main panel, enabling it to function as an entrance door without affecting the other folding panels (window function).

The CF 77 system is available in two aesthetic versions: functional and SlimLine, with a narrower visible width.

CW 60

CW 60 is a curtain wall system in which the glazing is secured with pressure strips attached to the load-bearing structure. By overlapping the glass behind the strip to a depth of 18 mm and further covering the spacer bar of the insulated glass, higher thermal insulation of the cross-section is achieved. CW 60 includes a wide range of profiles, allowing for the integration of various types of operable elements.

CR 120

CR120 is an insulated system designed for constructing winter garden roofs. GEALAN Renovation

The renovation frame is used for constructing windows that will be installed in historic buildings, on old wooden frames (without removing them). Before installing the renovation frame, it is necessary to inspect the wooden frame for wood quality (damage, moisture). If needed, the old wooden frame should be re-impregnated with appropriate agents. It is also important to ensure the possibility of ventilating the wooden frame that remains in the reveal. When preparing to install the new renovation frame, the old one must be properly processed. The renovation frame is installed from the inside. From the outside, depending on the building conditions, it is possible to install a suitable masking angle profile.

Advantages:

  • Various internal rebate depths available, from 16 mm to 64 mm.
  • The rebate can be extended by up to 45 mm using an additional element (combining 5507_5520 gives 85 mm in total).
  • Possibility of combining renovation frames with all sash profiles available in the given system.
